Michelle Mungall, who was recently elected and a New Democratic Party Member, is calling for the B.C. government to do away with interest on student loans. She believes the government should not profit from students, arguing, "it's wrong to treat students as a cash cow."

Mungall believes post-secondary education is an investment for the province. She is representing the riding of Nelson-Creston.
